TAUG is well known for its customer led break-out sessions and in depth training from TMA Resources’ experts but one highly valuable perk that is sometimes overlooked is the labs. TAUG offers four different types of labs. The labs are designed to give customers the opportunity to schedule one-on-one time with TMA Resources staff to ask specific questions pertaining to their organization. Basically it is complimentary – yes, free – consulting services.
So what’s each lab about, what’s new, and why should you take advantage of this time?
Business Consultant Lab
This lab offers a variety of TMA Resources Business Consultants who can address your specific questions about Personify/TIMSS. New to the lab this year, are hours to schedule a Universe Audit. If you have questions about Business Intelligence, Data Analyzer, querying etc. then don’t miss time to get face time with Business Intelligence and Reporting expert, Steve Coolbaugh. Steve will connect to your environment, launch Designer, and import a universe. All you need is your lap top and an appointment. Accounting Lab
Best accounting practices are crucial to any organization. TMA Resources’ senior managing consultant, Charlene Goldstein is an expert at financial methodology and best practices and her goal for the lab is to offer just that. Schedule time with her or one of her team members to ask questions about your own organization; anything from reconciliation to batches to deferred payments. Even if you don’t have any specific questions you can even inquire about tips and tricks to make your job easier. Product Demo Lab
The best way to learn about the features of Personify is to stop by one of the scheduled Personify Demonstrations. The product consulting team schedules a variety of demonstrations during TAUG. These demonstrations range for basic overviews of new features to specific functionality like reporting and e-Business. The demo schedule will be available at TAUG so make sure to make time in your busy schedule to stop by.
Developer is In Lab
If you’re interested in Personify behind the scenes – behind the end user that is, then this is the lab for you. TMA Resources product development team is there to answer the very technical questions pertaining to Personify/TIMSS. Don’t be scared to talk in code, these are the Personify coding experts. This year there are more opportunities than ever before to get developer training, so don’t forget to take advantage of the one-on-one time.
